Second Generation |
(Though prepared, hope you don't have to use it.)
In February 1995, five experienced Japanese divers in Liu-Cho were drawn because the engine of their boat was dead. They were drifted away by strong current. The nearby vessels were radioed for help, however, the distance and the difficulty in locating them on open sea had made the rescue impossible and fruitless. They were found dead 51 hours later. According to the news, all five of them left a note to their family to apologize and to explain what had happened... The importance of Surviballoon has caught the attention of Japanese divers. It has become a popular item among divers and in diving clubs. They all agreed that it could be a different story if one of the five Japanese divers was equipped with the Surviballoon because it would made them visible then. At the same period of time. many accidents of drifting away were found in Taiwan too.
I think sometimes it may be easier to find victim at night than daytime. Therefore, I have the second generation "Day and Night Surviballoon" invented. A patent application for "Day and Night Surviballoon" is filed. The first Surviballoon was introduced in 1977 and it had gone through important improvement many times by foreign manufacturers. The original design of Surviballoon is without a night signal.
Even though it was equipped with a flashlight, however, it does not last and it is not recognize as a S.O.S. signal. You will be able to find a fixed target at night with this new device, however, the light might be too deem to see from distance. Therefore, if you have heard the roar of rescue aircraft or boat, please shine the flashlight on your Day and Night Surviballoon for a better result (the whole idea of the design is to have victims shined their flashlights on the unit so they can be spotted easily from distance). The Day and Night Surviballoon is also equipped with Laser Flashing Plat to reflect sunlight so the victim can be found from distance.
"Day and Night Surviballoon" is the best partner of divers, it can also be a savor of theirs, however, we do hope that you will never have to use it.
